1. What it is
A public page for your shelter, like cucha.org/en/p/your-shelter, with the animals you choose. Anyone can see it without an account. The rest of your animals stay private.
2. Turn it on
In Settings, Public showcase section:
- Turn on Showcase on.
- Choose the address: lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only.
- Write an introduction: who you are, where you are and how your adoption process works.
- Click Save.
Only the Owner or an Administrator of the shelter can change it.
3. Choose which animals appear
Only the available animals you mark appear. In each animal's profile, turn on Show in your showcase. In Settings you can show or hide all available animals at once.
- The microchip, health, kennel and foster home are never shown.
4. Share it
In Outreach → Public showcase you have the link, the QR code and View my showcase, which opens it in a new tab. Volunteers, who can't open that screen, have it in the menu (on the phone, in Your shelter).
To share a specific animal, click Share in its profile and choose Public link: that's the link for social media and WhatsApp. If the animal isn't in the showcase yet, you can mark it from there.
- The other option, Invitation to adopt, is for the person in front of you: it gives them access to all your animals up for adoption.
5. What visitors see
The animal's profile with its photos and details, and two options:
- Apply to adopt: they create their Cucha account in a minute, get linked to your shelter and return to the profile with the application open. It reaches you like any other application.
- Any questions? Write to us: a form, no account needed, to ask you something. It reaches you as a web enquiry (see the «Web enquiries» guide).
6. Keep in mind
Anyone who applies from the showcase joins through your adopter invitation link. Afterwards they see all your animals up for adoption, not just the ones in the showcase.
